We have been serving the Bridgeport & Frankenmuth area since 1952
BRIDGEPORT, MI – Herb Jankowsky wanted a bar. His wife, Alanna Darrow, wanted a restaurant. The golf course was just a nice bonus.
The Frankenmuth couple became the new owners of Green Acres Golf Course in October and have spent the past six months remodeling, changing, and planning for the course, bar and restaurant.

Course History
Located less than 15 minutes southeast of Saginaw and 8 minutes from downtown Frankenmuth, Green Acres Golf Course in Bridgeport, Michigan, is an 18-hole track with a family-friendly layout. Measuring only 6,193 yards from the tips, Greens Acres Golf Course doesn’t challenge golfers as much with length as it does with accuracy. Designed by Ernie Wohlfeill, Green Acres features tight dogleg fairways and small greens that require golfers to be precise off the tee and on their approach shots. And with a beautiful Michigan setting, there’s no doubt that “Green Acres is the place to be”.
Whether a member, frequent guest or a first time visitor you’ll immediately notice the unique charm and character that this course has offered since 1960. A driving range, practice green and Yamaha cart fleet along with rental clubs, snacks and merchandise from our pro shop will make your experience memorable and pleasurable.
After a day on the course there is no better way to end than by stopping in at The Dogleg Sports Bar and Grill for delicious burgers, pizza, ice cold beer and mixed drinks.
